SistersIN Welcomes Four New Board Members to Lead the Next Phase of Growth

SistersIN is delighted to announce the appointment of four new members to its Board, marking a significant step in the organisation’s journey from a start-up movement to a sustainable force for empowering young women. The new appointments strengthen the organisation’s leadership and ensure SistersIN is well positioned to scale its impact across Northern Ireland and beyond.
Joining the Board are:
Ian Jeffers – CEO, Co-operation Ireland
With over 30 years’ experience across the public, private and voluntary sectors, Ian brings deep insight into youth development, peace building and collaboration across communities. Prior to his appointment at Co-operation Ireland Ian was the Commissioner for Victims & Survivors.
Tessa Breslin – Non-Executive Director, Catalyst
Tessa is an internationally experienced leadership consultant and executive coach, with specialist expertise in organisational psychology, succession planning and senior leadership development. She is passionate about empowering women to thrive in leadership roles.
Rob McConnell – CEO and Executive Board Member, ICC Belfast | Waterfront Hall | Ulster Hall
Rob is a dynamic business leader with extensive experience in organisational transformation and innovation. Rob has been instrumental in driving strategic direction and business transformation through his sales, solutions and innovation focused leadership.
Fiacre O'Donnell – Sustainability Director, Encirc
A recognised leader in responsible business, Fiacre has been honoured with multiple industry awards, including BITC’s Responsible Business Ambassador Award 2025. His expertise in sustainability and governance will support SistersIN’s long-term strategic resilience.
