Leading the Solutions: What Happens When Young Women Take Charge
Leadership is normally introduced as a destination. A part of your character earned. A title you grow into. The SistersIN Leadership Programme alongside Methodist College Belfast quietly took that idea and ripped it to pieces. Leadership turned into something we were expected to practice now through projects that had real audiences, real risks and real impact. It no longer was a concept waiting for us in the future. This isn’t about leadership in theory. It ’s about leaders

Leading with Confidence: Creating a Space to Belong Through Sport
I knew I wanted to bring something new to my school - something I would have loved as a younger pupil, something I could belong to. For me, that something was a junior cross country club. My goal was simple; to create a space where young people could enjoy exercise, challenge themselves, and feel part of a team, without needing to be super talented or highly competitive. Cross country should be about effort, enjoyment, and community, not pressure. When I shared my idea

Leading with Compassion: Standing Up for Women and Children
At the beginning of sixth form, sitting at the front of our assembly with our friends, enrichment projects were advertised, and we got the choice to pick ONE. The program has fostered maturity, creativity and passion empowering the students to apply theses skills to their everyday lives. The SistersIN Leadership protects have given our female students the opportunity to plan, lead, and impact the people around them, not only helping them to gain and foster skill they may never have

Leading a Project with my Passion: Inspiring Confidence Through Creativity and Sweet Treats
My name is Halle and my idea was to start a baking class for primary school students, this stemmed from my own passion and love for baking. I have always been adventurous in trying new foods and for as long as I can remember I have had a massive sweet tooth. I LOVE any and all desserts! I distinctly remember my Nana always having some sort of homemade bun or biscuit, which is still the case to this day. I watched her while she baked and that eventually lead to me helping her
