SistersIN is proud to announce a new partnership with Eakin Healthcare, who join the
programme as a Growth Partner, supporting the continued growth of the leadership and mentoring initiative for 16–18-year-old girls across Northern Ireland.
Through this partnership, Eakin Healthcare will support SistersIN’s mission to empower young women with the confidence, leadership skills and real-world networks needed to shape their futures through leadership modules, projects, mentoring and job shadowing.
As a family-owned healthcare business headquartered in Northern Ireland, Eakin Healthcare brings a strong culture of innovation, purpose and people development to the SistersIN network. With a mission centred on leading with care and a growing international reach across ostomy and respiratory care, the organisation offers valuable insight into leadership, manufacturing, healthcare and global business.
This partnership reflects a shared belief that when young women are given access to the right support, networks and opportunities, their confidence and ambition can grow exponentially.
As part of the partnership, colleagues from Eakin Healthcare will have opportunities to support the programme through mentoring, job shadowing and event engagement, helping mentees connect classroom learning with real-world leadership journeys and career pathways.
Gillian McKeown, Director of Operations and Growth at SistersIN, said:
“We are delighted to welcome Eakin Healthcare as a Growth Partner for SistersIN. Their commitment to improving lives, investing in people and creating opportunities for talent to thrive makes them a strong fit for our mission of empowering the next generation of female leaders across Northern Ireland.
Partnerships like this are essential in helping us expand the reach and impact of the programme, ensuring more young women can access mentoring, leadership development and meaningful insight into the world of work as they prepare for their future careers.”
Grace McGroggan, Director of QARA & Clinical at Eakin Healthcare, said:
“At Eakin Healthcare, we believe in creating opportunities for people to grow, lead and make a meaningful difference. Partnering with SistersIN is a natural extension of that commitment, and we are proud to support a programme that is helping young women across Northern Ireland build confidence, broaden their horizons and realise their potential.
Through mentoring, shared experiences and greater exposure to the world of work, we hope to play a small part in inspiring the next generation of female leaders and showing them the wide range of possibilities open to them. Who knows, we might just learn as much as we teach”
The partnership marks another exciting step in SistersIN’s continued growth and sustainability, strengthening the programme’s ability to connect young women with mentors, experiences and opportunities that build confidence, ambition and leadership capacity across Northern Ireland.
SistersIN is a leadership development programme designed to enable, empower and develop female pupils in education to become the leaders of tomorrow. This September, the programme will expand into 70 schools across Northern Ireland, reaching over 800 girls and continuing its mission to help young women discover their full potential, build leadership capability and confidence, and open new possibilities for their professional journeys.
