SistersIN and BT Continue Partnership to Inspire the Next Generation of Female Leaders

SistersIN is delighted to announce the continuation of its partnership with BT, building on a successful collaboration that began in 2023/24 and reinforcing a shared commitment to inspiring, empowering and developing the next generation of female leaders across Northern Ireland.

Since joining the SistersIN network of partners, BT has played an important role in supporting young women through mentoring, career insight and workplace experiences, helping participants develop the confidence, leadership skills and ambition needed to succeed in education, the workplace and beyond.

SistersIN is a leadership and mentoring programme for girls aged 16–18. Through leadership skills development, mentoring, job shadowing and leadership-in-action projects, SistersIN equips young women with the confidence, skills and experience to become future leaders in their schools, communities and workplaces.

The continuation of the partnership comes as SistersIN continues to grow its impact across Northern Ireland. During the 2025/26 programme year, the charity worked with 60 schools, supporting 756 young women and 727 mentors. This continued growth is made possible through the support of committed partners like BT, whose investment helps ensure even more young women can access these leadership and mentoring opportunities.
